What We Believe
The following is our 'Statement of Faith' - this is what we, as a Church, believe in:| The divine inspiration and infallibility of the Old and New Testament Scriptures, as originally given, and their supreme authority and sufficiency in all matters of faith and conduct. | The necessity of the work of the Holy Spirit to make the death of Christ effective to the individual sinner, granting repentance toward God and faith in Jesus Christ. |
| The one true God, self-existent and eternal, consisting of three persons; The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. | The work of the indwelling Holy Spirit in the life of the Believer for sanctification and service. |
| The universal sinfulness and guilt of mankind since the fall, making us subject to God’s wrath and condemnation. | The priesthood of all believers, who form the universal Church, the body of which Christ is the Head. |
| The substitutionary sacrifice of the incarnate Son of God as the only and all-sufficient ground of redemption from the guilt and power of sin, and from its eternal consequences. | The local Church, comprising such believers, as an expression of the universal Church. |
| The bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. | The personal and visible return of the Lord Jesus Christ in power and glory, and the bodily resurrection of believers. |
| The justification of the sinner only by the grace of God through faith in Christ crucified and risen from the dead. | The final judgement of all; the everlasting blessedness of the saved and the everlasting punishment of the unsaved. |
Our purpose is:
