At Sunbridge Road Mission we have a varied selection of meetings and groups for all ages. Below is a brief overview of the activities and if you want more information then please contact us or ask any of the team on a Sunday morning.
Sunday Services
All age worship: Sundays 10.30am & 6.30pm
Our Sunday morning service begins with a time of prayer and singing at 10.15am with the All-Age Worship beginning at 10.30am in the Main Hall. Tea and coffee are served in the Church Lounge after the service.
Our Sunday evening service is held in the Lounge and begins at 6.30pm.
On the first Sunday of each month we hold an early service. This is a more traditional, reflective service from 845am until 9.45am.
Babies & Toddlers
We have a well-equipped crèche with caring helpers that is available during the Sunday Morning Service for babies and toddlers up to 2 years old. Our Parent and Toddler group, See & Know, is held every Thursday morning (term time) from 10.00 am till 11.30 am.
Children
Partway through the main Sunday Morning Service our children, aged 2-12 years, leave to go to their own sessions with Bible studies and activities tailored for each specific age group. On Monday nights we have Boys’ Brigade for boys aged 5 to 18 and on Thursday nights Girls’ Brigade for girls aged 4½ to 18. The Brigades are Christ-centred uniformed organisations that offer various different activities from craft and sport to skills and Bible knowledge. Friday night is our main youth night with different groups and activities for different ages.
Teenagers
The teens join with us for the main Sunday Morning Service but then head off to their own Bible study partway through. After the evening service, the youth have their own After Meeting. This is usually at the home of one of the church members and usually involves food. On a Friday night the teens have their own youth group tailored for their age range.
Students & Young Adults
On a Friday night the students and young adults (aged 18-25) are invited to our 18+ home group. Students are also welcome to the Sunday night After Meeting.
Men
Every other Saturday morning we have a Men’s prayer breakfast in the Church lounge. This starts with breakfast at 8.30am followed by prayer and a devotional time until 10am. Every so often a group of men from church try to arrange a men’s night out. Previous nights have included bowling, curry and a Men’s Weekend Away.
Women
Occasionally there will be ladies-only events such as craft workshops and meals out. Please check back periodically for details.
Prayer Meetings
Prayer Meetings are an important part of the weekly programme. Please join us if you can:

- Wednesday 7.15am to 7.45am [Revival] (Main Hall)
- Alternate Thursdays 7.00pm to 8.30pm [Prayer Fellowship] (Room 7)
Bible Study & Home Groups
We have various Bible study groups throughout the week – some at church, and some in smaller home-based groups. We have done many different nationally recognised studies such as the Alpha Course and Precepts Bible Study. Please contact us for the current groups that are available.
