Our children and youth programmes run on a Sunday morning during our service and midweek on a Thursday.
What’s Coming Up
Sunday Mornings
Kids’ Church is for children aged 3-14. Children start the morning in the service with their parents/guardians and then go out for a time of shared worship including singing, Bible teaching and prayer. We aim to incorporate elements to the Kids’ Church service that include our children in the life of the church now and prepares them for remaining and joining in a church as a young adult. This includes giving, serving and mission.
The children then spend time digging deeper into the teaching in smaller age based groups.
Alongside Kids’ Church we have a crèche for 0-3’s. Parents/guardians are welcome to leave their children with the crèche team or stay with them in the crèche.
Weekdays
SRM Adventure
SRM Adventure is our action-packed midweek group for primary school aged children.
We have an exciting theme each term and our evenings include songs, games, craft, prayer and Bible teaching.
Children have fun competing in teams each week, winning points for great answers and behaviour and hoping to win the overall prize at the end of term. Plus, each week there is the chance to be crowned “Adventurer of the Week!”
We also include trips in our program, including a camp for our older children.
SRM Adventure is every other Thursday from 6:00pm to 7:30pm. For this term’s specific dates please grab a flyer in the church or email office@sunbridgeroadmission.org.uk
SRM Youth
SRM Youth is our midweek group for 11-18’s.
Our meetings vary from week to week. For specific dates please pick up a flyer in the church or email office@sunbridgeroadmission.org.uk
We meet on the alternate Thursday to SRM Adventure from 6:30pm-8:30pm. Our Thursday night includes games, time to socialise, snacks and a Bible Study with discussion time.
A couple of times a term we meet on a Friday or Saturday for a social or trip. Previously this has included Lazer Zone, bowling, ice-skating, trampolining and theme parks.
Different families in the church host youth lunches after our morning services on certain Sunday’s through the year. The young people have a chance to socialise and eat together. The families get to connect with and get to know our young people. We use the opportunity for discipleship and deeper relationships.
Finally, we have formed links with other youth groups in the Bradford area and created “Awaken.” Awaken is a youth event designed to connect church-going young people across Bradford so that they can make friends and be encouraged in their faith. The event nights include games, worship, testimony and a Bible teaching.
