We are an Independent Evangelical Church in the centre of Bradford made up of people from across the city. We are a mixture of many different ages, nationalities and backgrounds who are united by our faith in Jesus as our Lord and Saviour.
Vision
Sunbridge Road Mission is a church committed to making disciples of Jesus Christ here in Bradford. We long to see people from all backgrounds who are on fire for Jesus. As we join in with the mission Jesus has given his church (Matthew 28:18-20) our focus is on the following three areas:
Reach
We want to share the love of Jesus with those around us, both through speech (telling people the good news about what God has accomplished in Jesus) and action (providing practical help to those in need). There are three groups of people which God has particularly put on our heart in this: Inner-City; Next Generation; Diverse Cultures.
Grow
We want to see followers of Jesus develop and mature as we learn to walk in his ways. Just as a bridge needs deep foundations to span a wide gap, so we need to go deep if we want to reach wide. This means growing in our relationship with God, our understanding of the Bible, our obedience to his ways, and our relationships with one another.
Send
We want to equip people to serve Jesus both here in Bradford and beyond. In Bradford and the surrounding region we work in partnership with other gospel churches, and nationally we are affiliated with the Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches (FIEC). We have a number of mission partners spread across the globe focused particularly on people who are currently unreached with the gospel.

Grow – We are all works in progress being transformed into Jesus’ likeness with the Spirit’s help.

Pray – We come to our Father to enjoy His presence, seek His purposes and depend upon His power and provision.
Give – We gladly invest the resources God has given us in His eternal kingdom.
Go – We are sent out to bear witness to Jesus in Bradford and beyond.
