Where we meet
You will find us located on Sunbridge Road where it joins with Gaynor Street (see our contact page for further details). We have a small carpark located off Gaynor Street which includes 3 disabled parking spots. The main entrance to the building is from this carpark. Don’t worry if you cannot get into the carpark, most of us can’t, there is plenty of street parking available. We are only a 10 minute walk from the city centre and Bradford Interchange train station.
When we meet
We meet every Sunday morning at 1030am and evening at 6pm. Please consider arriving 10 minutes early to find your seat and to give us chance to meet you. We also have a Chinese church that meets following our morning service at 1pm
During our services
Sunday morning services are a great chance to meet as a church and welcome others who wish to come along. Each week can be different, but we usually start with a time of worship and singing. Some people are used to this, others are not, please do not feel you have to join in if this is new or you don’t know the songs. At some point during the service there will also be a few notices for different events or up-to-date news which is announced from the front.
Following this the children have the chance to go to children’s groups to meet together, enjoy different activities, and learn more about God. We also have a creche for children up to 3 years of age where you can feel free to leave you children in the capable hands of our creche team, allowing you to return to the service.
Leading on from this there will be a message shared from the front lasting 30-40 minutes, followed by a closing song. We have a prayer team available to anyone who would like to receive prayer, please just head down to the front of the main hall once the service finishes, usually around 1150
Please join us afterwards for tea, coffee and biscuits. This is our chance to meet you and welcome you. Please don’t leave before you have had chance to speak to us! Some weeks we will have a Church Lunch which everyone is welcome to. We also regularly have a Student Lunch open to any student who wishes to come along.
Sunday evening services happen in our smaller lounge meeting room. This follows a similar structure to the morning services, however, there is no provision for children. Services usually finish at 7pm or shortly after. We love tea, coffee, and biscuits here at Sunbridge Road Mission, so you will find us serving more after this service!
